Building Usage Fee: $50 Non-Refundable
(This does not apply to internal minstry requests.)
RCC has been richly blessed by the Lord with wonderful grounds and facilities with which to serve Him. It is our desire to share this blessing with the church and their friends. The following scheduling priorities have been established and will govern all decisions concerning the building use:
The first priority of our building is to serve the church body as a whole. Church-wide activities will always be given top priority in building use. In some cases, such activities may bump previously scheduled events to another area of the building or, in rare occasions, even to another date.
(a minimum of two weeks’ notification will be given).
Our second scheduling priority will be the activities of the church’s recognized ministry groups (youth, worship team, missions, etc.)
It is our desire to serve the community and thus, under special conditions, our facility may be available for non-church activities. These activities must be sponsored by an active member of Rocklane Christian Church and then scheduled through the church office. The sponsoring member is expected to be present at the activity and to accept responsibility for proper clean-up and adherence to the Room Reservation Guidelines (see below). Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners and Receptions may NOT be sponsored by a member.
Room Reservation Guidelines:
If this is a private event such as birthday/shower/wedding/graduation/family gathering, etc., you are responsible for the set up of your event. Our church does not provide a service for set up. Tables and chairs may not be moved from classrooms without prior authorization from the RCC office and coordinating with other events on our calendar. All equipment, table and chairs are to be put back in their original locations immediately following the event.
NO alcoholic beverages are allowed in our facility or on the grounds.
You are responsible for the clean-up immediately following the event.
Tables and counters must be wiped down. If range and ovens are used, they are to be cleaned, i.e., drip pans washed and any spills in oven are to be cleaned up.
Floors must be vacuumed, swept or mopped (if needed) at the end of your event.
Trash must be picked up and thrown away in dumpster. (Fresh liners in cans - new liners are in the closet off the Café area). The dumpster is located outside the kitchen/Café door on the southeast side of the church.
Utensils must be washed and properly put back into drawers.
Last group in building will make sure all lights are out and the doors locked.
OUR FACILITIES AND GROUNDS ARE A SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT.
Any damage must be reported to sponsoring member of RCC. It will be the responsibility of the RCC member to report any damage to the office.
This is a house of worship and behavior of everyone utilizing these facilities should be reflective and respectful of that fact, regardless of their religious beliefs or denomination.
Children are not allowed on the stage, or near the sound equipment without a responsible adult.
